Boiler Boiling Temperature v/s Beer Alcohol Content

This is a graph of the boiler temperature V/S the alcohol content of the beer, showing the actual temperature of the LIQUID in the boiler.

The Boiling temperature is directly affected by the Atmospheric Pressure.

GOTO: Boiling Temperature v/s Atmospheric Pressure to establish the true Boiling temperature for that Specific Day, at your Specific Altitude

Boiler Energy v/s Vapor output

  • The Energy level at which you operate a boiler is very important.
    • When the beer starst vaporising, its temperature stops rising and is directly refered to the beer's alcohol content.
    • The temperature will rise as the alcohol content is vaporised and the beer's alcohol lowers throughout distillation.
  • The above graph shows the boiling temperature v/s the beer's alcohol content.
    • IF YOU APPLY TOO MUCH ENERGY, THE BOILER WILL PRODUCE MORE VAPORS, BUT THE TEMPERATURE WILL NOT RISE WITH HIGHER ENERGY LEVELS, YOU WILL END UP WITH FLOODING YOUR REFLUX COLUMN WHICH WILL NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH TO MUCH VAPOR.
  • In the case of an overflow-vent combined with a low proof outlet as is the case of the C803, and the FSS
    • You will get spitting from the vent above the low proof,
    • Too much low proof output,
    • Low proof becomes way too high in alcohol content,
    • High proof outlet, where the ethanol comes out, will dwindle to a low dribble, ( way less than normal )
  •  The Boiling Temperature V/S Energy level Pictures below show this relation very graphically
    • With many Times the Energy level, the temperateru remains constant
    • Yet the boiling passes from a gentle Simmer to a Roaring Boil

Boiling Temperature V/S Energy level

  • Water hardly boils:

  • Element setting at: LOW (  Simmer )
  • Temperature reads 212°F
  • The pot took 6 hours to fully vaporize.

 ================================

  • Water is fully boils:

  • Element setting at HIGH ( Full )
  • Temperature reads 212°F
  • The pot took 25 Minutes to fully vaporize.
  • With more than 10 times the applied energy.

Throug-wall, Bulkhead fittings

Through-wall fittings, which are also known as bulkhead fittings, allow you to make safe, quick inlets and outlets in plastic and metal tanks, walls, and panels for faucets, pipes, and spigots.
To install: Cut or drill a hole in your tank, slide the body of the fitting through the hole from the inside of the tank exactly as per diagram at right and tighten the nut on the outside of the tank.
