V47 VALVE

COOLING COIL S.A.T.R. VALVE
(Self Actuated Temperature Regulated)

Johnson Controls V47xx xx SATR valve
  • Presently, 4 Models will operate satisfactorily, The choice is guided by the availability at the time of ordering and your Altitude.
    • Best is no 1,  then 2, ...
  • No 1 : V47AA-1C 3/8'', 115-180 Deg F Any Altitude
  • No 2 : V47AB-3C 1/2'', 115-180 Deg F Any Altitude
  • * No 3 : V47AA-2C 3/8'', 160-230 Deg F Below 4,500 Ft Altitude
  • * No 4 : V47AB-4C 1/2'', 160-230 Deg C Below 4,500 Ft Altitude
  • * NOTE : The AZEOTROPE temperature of Water/Ethanol 95% Mix, is 164.9Deg F at 4,500 Feet Altitude and we want to keep a few safety degrees for Barometric pressure variations and possible 2% Valve deviation from the specifications.  Gilles

    'NO REPLACEMENT OR ALTERNATE VALVE''

At this time, there is NO replacement
    for the temperature control valve,
    and we should continue using
    the V47 described here.

    I keep looking for a decent replacement;

BUT THIS IS A VERY SENSITIVE
    CONSTANT EQUILBRIUM TYPE VALVE

I am working on a PWM solenoid valve.
The PMW valve will do just fine
at a fraction of the cost of the present V47,
     but it needs some finishing.
and I will be running late on all other projects.
I sincerely apoligise for this twist of events,
but once the website is completed,
things will all fall into place.
